Louis Vuitton Monterey 1st Gen

Designed by legendary Italian architect Gae Aulenti and produced by IWC, the Monterey II represents one of Louis Vuitton’s earliest and most experimental ventures into watchmaking. Launched in 1988, its sculptural lug free ceramic case, crown positioned unusually at 12 o’clock, and integrated alarm complication make it unlike almost anything else from the era. Once an obscure design, the Monterey II has since developed a cult following among collectors.
