The Vario 1945 D12 is a modern tribute to the iconic Dirty Dozen military watches from WWII, blending vintage field watch aesthetics with contemporary specs. Featuring a 37mm 316L stainless steel case, sapphire crystal with inner AR, and 10 ATM water resistance, it’s built for durability and daily wear. The black dial with railroad-style minute track, C3/BGW9 lume, and small seconds subdial enhances legibility, while the Miyota 82S5 automatic movement with Côtes de Genève finishing, hacking, and hand-winding adds reliable performance and vintage charm. Designed with comfort in mind, its 4 o’clock screw-down crown avoids wrist dig-in, and it’s finished with a rugged Cordura strap and backed by a 2-year global warranty.
Vario 1945 D12 is a tribute to the purpose built Dirty Dozen timepieces - a collection of Swiss and British watches built specifically for the battlefields of WWII. Their black dials, railroad-style minute tracks, luminous hands and indexes, and small seconds movements marked them as part of the iconic set and created a highly legible look that remains distinct even today. We've upgraded the specs such as an anti-reflective anti-scratch sapphire crystal, a marine grade stainless steel case, 100m water resistance, non-fading lume and a hacking Japanese automatic movement. Our 4pm crown was also designed to be easy to grip while not digging into user's wrist for more comfort.
